South America is synonymous with love. I say that not just because I love this continent so much. Greeting each other with kisses, passionate dancing and open expressions of sympathy are proof of my opinion. If your relationship is about to break and lack a spark, choose any place in Latin America to rekindle your feelings. If your love affair just started, my recommendation will be the same – pack your luggage and head to this continent. Traveling together is a great romantic adventure. And traveling together around South America will be the icing on the cake for any couple. It does not matter whether you met each other on chatting sites or have been married for twenty years, you’ll never feel sorry for visiting these, the most romantic places in South America.

praia-do-sancho

Baia do Sancho, Brazil
Let’s start with a beach holiday, for those who can’t imagine their getaway without sun, sand and sea. Though it would be wrong to say that Baia do Sancho is just one of numerous beaches. It is the pearl of the Fernando de Noronha archipelago. The emerald water, amazing nature and wildlife, the coral reef and nobody except you and your significant one! What could be better than that? But to reach this paradise you’ll have to climb a ladder and walk a bit. That is the price for enjoying the romantic solitude this place offers.

Santiago de Cali, Colombia
Visiting the town Cali (that is its short name) in Colombia is a perfect idea for couples who prefer an active lifestyle. Dancing together has a great power to bond the loving hearts and light a spark. Cali is known as the “Capital de la Salsa”. One week in July is dedicated to the Summer Salsa Festival, which features, among other things, foot tapping dance shows. You’ll definitely be inspired to take some classes together and then to demonstrate your dance in the salsa bars.

The Tatacoa Desert, Colombia
Going to the desert might not sound very romantic. Wherever you go, you see only sand and few plants. But when twilight falls and the stars appear, the desert is not a dead place any more. Hug your significant one and stare at the amazing view – of millions of bright stars turning a desert into a magic place. Tatacao has an observatory with a modern telescope as well.

Machu Picchu, Peru
Having visited these ruins in Peru, you’ll be able to say that you experienced one of Seven Wonders of the World. Both of you will have the chance to walk around the site, built in the 15th century at a height of 2430 meters (7972 feet) on a high ridge in the Andes. Machu Picchu shows the power and achievement of the Inca Empire. To get there you’ll have to trek a challenging trail route and, of course, don’t forget to pack a bottle of water. This experience will test your endurance and help improve the bonds that are important to a strong relationship. The epic moment of reaching Machu Picchu will reward you with breath-taking views of Sacred Valley below.
